Salon du Chocolat is the world’s most prestigious chocolate exhibition. Since its inception in 1995 in Paris, France, many enterprises and exhibitors from cocoa bean growing countries, chocolate producers, chocolate manufacturing equipment and dessert manufacturers have gathered together on the show. It can be regarded as the World Cup of chocolate industry.

Sinoexpo Informa Markets has secured the exclusive rights to host Salon du Chocolat in China. In 2023, the inaugural Salon du Chocolat Shanghai was successfully co-hosted with the FHC Shanghai Global Food Trade Show. For the second edition of the exhibition, scheduled for November 2024, the event expanded to a total area of 5,000㎡. It featured over 60 leading chocolate brands from both domestic and international markets, including notable participants from France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, Ecuador, as well as prominent Chinese trendsetting chocolate brands. It attracted a total of 171,828 visitors. Additionally, the exhibition showcased a wide range of chocolate-related industries, including equipment manufacturers and cocoa raw material suppliers.

The 3rd Salon du Chocolat Shanghai will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from November 12-14, 2025. This edition will broaden its scope to include categories such as confectionery, baked goods, ice cream, cereal bars, and cookies, offering professional buyers a more diverse range of products for procurement. Additionally, the on-site activities have been significantly enhanced, featuring events like the Chocolate Fashion Show, Global Choco Village, Global Chocolate Demo Show, and Chocolate Art Show. These activities aim to create an immersive and professional chocolate paradise for visitors.
